How the P.I.G.S team works
What's involved in the P.I.G.S team?
The Paranormal Investigation Group Sussex is devoted to quality. Our people all share some common values, commitment to quality work, attention to detail, and a passion for the future of the P.I.G.S. To achieve this we have several smaller teams that work within.
Location selection and research.
We are very selective on locations simply because of the amount of work and study that goes into every location investigated. Research on a location will take place going back to the year it was built or first noted in history. Our pre investigation team contains Amy, Lauren and Matt who all share a passion for research, history, fact finding and investigating people and historic incidents.
The public research team will also conduct a detailed public research where the team will be out in public talking to anybody in around or connected with a location. Public research will take place over a four week period to ensure they catch as many members of the public as possible as many different times of the day.
Once the objectives have been established the team will create a pre investigation case file which will be brought to the meeting table where the whole team will discuss the objectives for the investigation on the night.
Once the objectives for an investigation has been agreed the case will be handed to (Tim) the Investigation Co-ordinator to implement various arrangements.
During this time Tim will be in contact with the locations proprietors or managers to plan the investigation night.
On the actual investigation
There will be a investigation brief and presentation on the night. The brief will consist of facts and targets, equipment and experiments to be used, and a general idea of the evidence we're looking for in order to meet the expectations and objectives.
Post investigation
After the investigation and the data has been scrutinized, interesting data will be handed to the web team. There may well be unanswered questions and things still to prove or further investigate this is when simple objectives will be handed to the post investigation team for their ongoing enquires. Once we feel we have all the facts available to us, we will create the P.I.G.S Courtroom. This is were we film a prosecution and defence statement for each location and ask members of the public to decide if that place is guilty or not guilty of being haunted based on the evidence we've provided.
We constantly evaluate our investigation methods and are always looking to improve or add new ways and means of capturing paranormal activity.
