Equipment

Here is an explanation about some of the equipment the P.I.G.S use on an investigation.

Ouija Board

There are many different myths attached to the board there are also many different types of board. The P.I.G.S strongly recommend that you do not partake in an Ouija board session unless you are experienced with spirit communication. The P.I.G.S accept no liability or responsibility for anything you decide to do with a spirit communication board.

The Board or Ouija board has many different versions there is the traditional Ouija board there is a spirit board, an angel board, a witches board, etc in essence they are all the same type of thing. With these boards you will have to be disciplined in your approach of how you use them, and how you regard any information given to you. We do not support any use of these types of boards for 'party games' nor for attempting personal gain.

  Hints and Tips

If you decide to partake in an Ouija board session, we would urge you to think of this tool in this way: it's a piece of cardboard and a plastic planchette (depending on which version you have), nothing more, nothing less. The aim of the board is to be a communication tool between you and the spirit world. If you are unable to think of the board in this way, we strongly recommend that you don't use one.

If you do decide to use one, here are a few pieces of advice, as well as some things to keep in mind:

Some people have been affected mentally using this tool and some have claimed an invasion of spirits / ghosts into their homes. Therefore we recommend that unless you are very experienced, you don't use one inside your house.

Don't believe everything you get told. If you asked a stranger some questions would you believe them 100% on the answers? Well treat this board no differently! Remember you are communicating with the spirit world and who's to say that spirits don's lie!

Also be aware that the board can respond to your thoughts as it does to spoken words. If you are not capable of concentrating on the "asked question" then don't take part as you may think of a question that you can't ask and the board may answer you.

While the communication is on the board you are fine.

Because you are moving the communication from the board to the room and when you say goodbye on the board and close it guess who's could potentially still be in the room. From our research, this is the most common reason that people end up with entities in their homes (but not the only one).

Remember that not everybody can spell especially before the nineteenth century

Always remember that somebody could be pushing the planchette so ask everybody one by one to take there hands away from the board while the planchette is in motion.

if you do have communication be nice and respectful.

Having said all that it is a fantastic way to obtain things from history that you research to confirm etc, This tool in the right hands being used responsibly its a great piece of kit
