Here is an explanation about some of the equipment the P.I.G.S use on an investigation.

Weather Station

Really useful as they come with transmitting sensors that can be left in various rooms, so you can see the temperature of up to three locations with one base unit.

   Hints and Tips

 

Buy Three of these you will notice that they retain through the year at fairly consistent prices however places that stock them as a seasonal thing like a christmas gift will flog them really cheep a week before christmas to try and clear them through.

Place the transmitter in a room then at your base or control point place the receiving part this will enable you to monitor the temperature of a room with out disturbing it , also you will see from the temperature display that it gives a trend arrow to show it the temperature has increased or decreased,

Some units will give an event history if yours doesn't you will need a notepad and pen remember to take the readings at regular intervals.
