Wireless infrared cameras

Here is an explanation about some of the equipment the P.I.G.S use on an investigation.

Inferred Static Video Cams

These infrared cameras see up to 17 meters in the dark. Comes as a pack of two cameras but can be upgraded to 4. Great for catching Orbs and anything that is there. They also have audio, and can plug into the mains electricity or will run on a 9 volt batteries per camera.

   Hints and Tips

These perticulay camers are wireless and as such transmit their information from the camrea to the reciever (thats the black and silver bit in the picture above) you will notice that they will conflict with other wirless devises such as wireless brordband conections, TV senders etc, its worth being conciderate of these things and you can change the frequency they transmit at by removing the lense cap from the camera where you will find some 'jumper settings' change these and you should be ok.

If your picture is suffering interfearance you will have to look into swiching off any other digital transmiter in the location you can,  (but remember some buildings have wireless fire alams etc so dont touch those) It may be that the location your in has very thick walls so you will simply have to move the reciever closer to the cameras in order to improve the picture quality.

Remember that your cameras are transmitting a digital signal this means that it is possible to view your images using a TV reciever or it is possible that somebody else can be viewing your pictures with the same equipment, so mind your conduct in range of these devices.

The actual base of these camers are quite inadiquate for the weight at the top and as such will toppel over, a good cure for this is gaffer tape as it sticks firm and when removed leaves no residue (anchent locations have very delicate wood work that is easly marked by other tapes etc)

If your using these on batterie power the actual battery will only last about an hour so make sure you have a good supply

my advise would be use hard wired cams where possible over the wireless type, saves a lot of fiddeling about  but be sure to ensure the wires are safe from people tripping over them, theres nothing worse than having people trip over your camera lead hurting themselves and spoiling your camera view! (ha ha ha).
