Team 1 Alpha Bravo

Storage Area
We started our vigils at the Storage area, and we conducted several audio experiments- Audio Lights, Ghost Box, EVP experiments etc. However, we had no discernable phenomena- it is possible that something may have been picked up on EVP, however, this is still pending analysis.
Bunker
Ciaran led the group in the Bunker, and conducted some interesting experiments in this location, which were enjoyed by all.
Captain’s House
This was one of my favourite locations on the site- Chris Conway joined us here, and we started off in the lower area of the location, down the stairs. We heard several sounds over by the staircase, and conducted an EVP experiment, attempting to use the sound of the waves as a form of background noise for ITC. The results of this are pending. We then moved up to the house area, and whilst here, conducted some interesting dowsing experiments. One of the participants was particularly drawn to the fireplace, and felt as though there was someone in there with her. We heard distinct footsteps coming from the room above us, and heard a murmured conversation coming from that room. I went to investigate, and found that both doorways into this location were boarded off, making them inaccessible. One of the participants and I felt as though something had brushed past us- I felt as though something had brushed my arm, and she felt that something had brushed her neck.
Surgeon’s House
I found the surgeon’s house to be pretty flat in terms of activity- we attempted some glass moving in the upper floor, and although we got some positive movements, including when no one was apparently touching the cup, it is possible that it was being knocked due to microscopic movements within the hands of the participants. Due to the light weight of the cup, it would not have taken a strong pressure on this to cause movements. We decided to move back to the lower room, and tried again, using the surgeon’s table and a ceramic dish that was here- we had some results using this. While we were in this location, we were sat on the benches, and one of the participants felt as though her leg was pinched. The nearest participant was sat about a foot away from her, and I was opposite, and I did not see any movement between them.
Hospital
Finally, we finished our night in my other favourite location- the hospital. While in here, I split the group into twos, and placed two of them in the toilet area, leaving the remaining two in the main lower room. Both groups experienced objects thrown or dropped- mainly small stones. We all got together and attempted to do some automatic writing, with minimal results. We then heard noises in the hallway area, so moved out to investigate. As we walked into this area, we heard more small taps in the first room off to the left. We went in, and the taps continued into the next room. We followed these to the end room, where we felt drawn to a cupboard in this location. On asking if there was a spirit in the cupboard, a tap came from the room we had just been in. We followed this back out, and heard a sound on the stairs, so went to investigate this. We went up to the large room at the top of the stairs, and whilst in here, I received a radio call from Lauren. She was letting me know that her group was heading back to base. As Lauren started to talk, I felt a small pressure on my arm, as though a child had placed its hand on my arm. As the vigil was coming to an end, we decided to collect the equipment from here, and head back. One of the participants asked if we should check whether the cupboard door had moved, and so we headed into this location again. Through the doorway into this room, we could see it had not. As we turned to leave, there was a loud bang from behind us in the room- three of the four participants had just left the room, and I was exiting with the remaining participant. We both agreed that the sound had come from by the doorway, and we could not see anything that had caused this. The floor was made up of stone slabs, ruling out floorboards causing this sound. We are unable to explain this.
I would like to thank the participants on the night for all money raised for the charity, and thank Team Mike Lima for all of your enthusiasm and willingness to take part in all experiments. It was a great night, and a pleasure to work with you all.
Team 3 Lima Kilo

Hospital
In this area the team was joined by Chris Conway and we began by trying the automatic writing experiment. With this experiment the group got through clear movements with a few yes and no answers to questions but we did have a lot of movement making what seemed to be a childlike drawing. We then went upstairs in this building and tried some call outs, during this time we heard some noises on the stairs, possibly what sounded like footsteps and a small pebble being thrown.
Storage
In this area the team split into two groups and each took small vigils in the 2 rooms, one group reported having a stone thrown at them, shuffling sounds and seeing a dark figure behind them as they were leaving the area. The team in the other area got some clear responses to questions using the ghost box and this was recorded on the Dictaphone. The whole team then joined together in the back storage area and tried using the ghost box and doing some call outs. Using the ghost box the team got what appeared to be clear responses using this tool and during this time members of the group reported seeing a figure at the door and hearing shuffling and other sounds. The team also hear an engine sound which sounded like a motorbike which seemed strange at the time considering the location but later during the evening walking around i heard the same sounds again a few times which seemed to be sound carrying from the shore. Just before the team finished this vigil we tried one last call out, after a small break waiting for a response one of the team was very shocked having felt a stone thrown at them, when the stone was picked up straight after several of the team noted that it was warm to the touch.
Surgeon's House
In this area the group began in the upstairs room and attempted the glass moving experiment. The group only had minimal movement with this experiment but during this time many of the team heard noises on the stairs and in the areas around them. We tried doing some call outs in the downstairs area to no avail so half the team returned upstairs to try the glass moving again while the team downstairs listened for responses and sounds. Occasional sounds on the stairs were heard by both teams and at one point when the upstairs team reported having difficulties with electronic equipment the team downstairs heard a series of banging sounds above which sounded like the team moving but according the team upstairs no-one was moving at the time.

In this area the team were lead by Ciaran who showed the team different types of equipment used for measuring paranormal activity
