Maglite

These torches are made of aluminium, they are waterproof and possibly the most reliable touch in the world. unfortunately they are also very desirable and of course popular, as such we have lost a number of these however nowadays we have them all engraved with our team name |

I would strongly advise owning a Maglite but I'de also strongly advise looking after it.
Our Maglites are the 2 D cell versions simply because they are a nice size not to heavy. Maglites have a focusing beam which can be achieved |
by twisting the head of the touch which enables the user to broaden the beam for close field use or tighten the beam for long distance use.
Customise
![]() |
Customisation of your Maglite is easy as there are many different accessories available for it, we have customised ours with LED bulbs because, the light beam is very strong and more effective when using a lens filter, and the LED consumes a lot less energy than the |
normal bulb hence longer battery life, and possibly an even more reliable bulb, The Maglite comes with a spare bulb in the end cap, and it takes 30 seconds to swap them over should you ever feel the need.
Red Lens
![]() |
There are a number of different filter lenses you can fit to your Maglite, we use red simply because if your are in an extremely dark location with a number of people the red lense wont dazzle anybody yet it will illuminate trip hazards and stairs quite adequately. The red lens wont |
interfere with infrared video or cameras. Normally you can buy a pack or three colours which come with anti roll collars.
Candle Mode
![]() |
Candle mode is very useful simply if you require an none directional light which Isn't a fire hazard and will give you enough illumination that you wont need anything more than a pocket Mag although the larger versions also have this feature available. To achieve this simply unscrew the head of the |
touch which reveals the bulb and switch on.
