Area 1- Upstairs corridor

We started this area by splitting the group up and going to separate parts. We got accustomed to the atmosphere, and got a feel for where we were. I went into the corridor itself, where the sound activated lights were, and was stood perfectly still. The lights started to go off by themselves, and more than just one or 2 flickering. We got back together, and did a few call-outs- not much happened here, although there was a tapping sound that came from the kitchen area. We went into this area, and did some callouts, using the dictaphone for EVP work. Personally, i felt as though someone was standing behind me in this area, and didn't feel 100% comfortable. We went from here to the side room just outside the kitchen to try the automatic writing. We got some movement from the planchet, but nothing of any significance. Following this, we left RED in the side room, and went to the end of the corridor, where we tried to get something to affect him by touching his left shoulder, pulling his hair, and poking him in the back. While doing this, the sound activated lights started to really go off on their own big style! Following this, we left the upstairs area.

Area 2- Ladies' toilets

We started this area in as much the same way as the first area by getting a feel for the location and see how we felt in this area. We did some callouts, and didn't get anything of any significance. Half of the group tried some scrying, while the other half tried using the dowsing rods. None of the group got anything significant when scrying, and i was the only one who got anything while using the dowsing rods. i asked if there was someone with us, and the rods crossed, indicating a YES. I asked where he was in the room, and the rods indicated he was at the end of the corridor by the lock-off camera. On asking other questions, i re-asked where he was in the room, and the rods indicated he was standing in front of me to the right of me- there was a cold spot there at the time. RED felt like someone was standing in front of him, and so i asked for the spirit to show me where he was standing. The rods pointed to the left of me, and i followed them until they crossed just in fron t of RED, indicating that that was where the spirit was standing. We did not get much activity here. I returned to the area, just after we left, and took some photos in the corridor. In one, there are three orbs in a line in the bottom right of the image, and in another there is what appears to be the shape of a man's head and torso at the opposite end of the corridor. It is possible that this could be something to do with the reflections in the corridor, although it may be something or someone else. I didn't personally feel much in this area.

My opinion on the night is that it went very well. And was well orchestrated and set out. Everyone is pulling together more and more like a tight team. The basement with the camera was weird. Not just a case of the camera falling as the cable was some distance from the camera. When I was on my own in the basement the feeling was very uncomfortable and of being watched I felt trapped. This experience I did not encounter when we where all down there in a mass vigil.
The ladies toilets where strange the camera stopped working and I felt the presences of a woman – lost ,not knowing what to do or where to look. And I felt like I was falling back wards .
The upper halls there was clear definitive movement on the planchet and the writing of the name John was clear . The sound / lights seem to be lighting one at a time and often in response to questions. .There seem to be a number of spirits in the areas mentioned .all in all a good night. The notice board was a great success.
